Mushroom Growing Workshop with Madcap Mushrooms

Join us on Thursday, May 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a mushroom growing workshop in partnership with Madcap Mushrooms.

Founded by Blake and Lindsey Goldberg, Madcap Mushrooms began as a small operation in a 400-square-foot tiny home and has grown into a Vermont-based business focused on cultivating high-quality gourmet mushrooms. Their approach is approachable, practical, and rooted in a deep enthusiasm for the craft.

In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of growing mushrooms at home, including care and harvesting, as well as an introduction to lab work, grain preparation, incubation, substrates, and fruiting. Each participant will leave with a 5 lb mushroom grow bag, suitable for all experience levels. With fresh air, moisture, and a bit of patience, you’ll be well on your way to your first harvest.
