Harvest Dinner: Apples, Chicories, Pork & Riesling

  • Philo Ridge Farm 2766 Mount Philo Road Charlotte, VT, 05445 United States (map)

Join us at Philo Ridge Farm for a ticketed, multi-course, family-style meal celebrating the flavors of fall as part of Slow Food Vermont’s Chicory Month.

Featuring our pasture-raised pork, heirloom varieties of farm-grown chicories, and local apples from our friends at Shelburne Orchards, the menu will be complemented by special wine pairings from Joh. Jos. Prüm, one of Germany’s most celebrated Riesling producers. This family-owned estate in the Mosel is renowned for its elegant, beautifully balanced wines-- a special opportunity to enjoy them alongside the autumn harvest here in Vermont.

Meet the people behind the meal and hear the stories of what’s on the table. Philo Ridge Farm team members Ed Pitcavage and Jeremy LeClair will share more about the pork and chicories, Nick Cowles from Shelburne Orchards will talk about the apples, and Chris Corraro from Vine Cycle will guide us through the wines.

Gather around the table on October 22 for an evening of good food, wine, and conversation.
