Sheep shearer Gwen Hinman is visiting the farm on Tuesday, August 26th. Gwen has been shearing flocks across the Northeast for years, carrying on the legacy of her father, David Hinman, whose hard work and passion inspired The Shearer’s Yarn.
Stop by the Sheep Barn with the whole family to watch her in action as she shears our flock from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and again from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Look for signs after you park to find your way. This free, drop-in event is fun for all ages—come see the skill, speed, and care that go into this essential part of farm life.
